The aerogel 500 dosn’t have the spin potential like the Aero Pro Drive has. The Aero Pro drive has a 16*19 string pattern (more spin) while the AG 500 has a 16*18. If you have a fast swing, the AeroProDrive will be able to provide more power and depth. I like dunlops (especially the Dunlop 4d 200), However, the 500 really is not that great. It is not stable at all, especially volleying. Once, I tried that racquet and I was going for a shot that was hit very hard. The ball literally hit the sweetspot, however the racquet spun in my hand and the ball went into my face. That had never happened before to me. I was extremely upset and embarrassed and returned the racquet to the owner (one of my hitting partners at a club) The Aero Pro drive is not heavy at all. It is 11.3 OZ…I know JV girls that use this racquet. So it really can’t be that heavy.
