Would the North American Technate isolate itself from the rest of the world?

Certainly not! There might be a short initial period that the Technate might close its doors in order to facilitate housecleaning, but after that it would welcome the interest of other areas. Having set our own house in order, we would be in an excellent position to give assistance by inviting students from other lands to come to North America to see the Technate in operation and possibly take back some of the ideas for use in their own countries. Tourists, too, would be invited here, and these would undoubtedly gain some impressions that would be of assistance in their home lands. Alternately, tourists from North America would be visiting other land areas; and also, if requested, scientists and/or engineers from the Technate would go wherever needed to help in the completion of projects in hand. This two-way flow of the Technate and global citizenry hardly supports any notion of isolationism that any person now might hold concerning the Technate.
