No you should be ok with just the passport. When you go on a cruise you are given a set sail pass which is a cruise ID. Since you are visiting by cruise most places want to see verification that you are on the cruise which would be your set sail

No. You have a private bathroom in your cabin. There are restrooms all over the ship, but not a public changing room or public shower. This is not a school gymnasium.

The ship that NCL has for its cruises out of Charleston, SC is one of its older ship, so old that it does not have balcony cabins; unless they changed it since the last time I almost booked it for this past December. Its a nice ship by older ship
