Hello, could you tell me if there is a ground-penetrating radar that can perform reliably in stony or rocky soil? Often, the signal is distorted in these conditions, making it difficult to get a clear picture of subsurface objects. Standard solutions produce very inaccurate results for us. We currently have a site in a mountainous area where the data from standard equipment is very unstable-the signal keeps cutting out, and it’s difficult to distinguish actual structures from natural interference. I started looking into more specialized options and came across solutions like ground-penetrating radar for rocky terrain. However, I’m still unsure about the justification of this investment. Would such equipment make a noticeable difference, or would the operator’s experience and correct interpretation play a bigger role?
