I started playing CS:GO recently and started getting into it. But should I buy skins/knife? I know that some of them are really, REALLY expensive. But is it worth the price? I mean the cheapest knife cost around $60 and you could probably buy at least one AAA game such as Battlefield 1, or DOOM, or 2 games or more if it’s on sale such as the witcher 3 and mgs v. And is there a quite a chance that I could sell it for even a higher price? Also, is it worth it if I open crates? I know that the chance of getting a high-value skin is very low. Or should I just sell the crates? I know this might not be the correct subreddit to ask this question, but if I go to CS:GO subreddit, then the post get removed everytime when I ask this question. Plus I bet there are many people in the PCMR who plays CS:GO.
My advice is not to buy anything if you are just starting out. Wait until you get the hang of the game and acquire some skills so that you are not that guy who is nothing more than beautiful skins.
Play the game for a couple more months like I did. Before buying a knife, I studied all the necessary information and offered skins about karambit knife . Do the same, and if you find that you still enjoy playing, then pulling the trigger on the knife might be worth it.
