Where is the Best Lunch Spot in San Antonio, Texas?

My friends and I decided to try this place out after an SAT one Saturday. It was a gorgeous day, and W.D. Deli was a great place to eat outside. The service was good, and the people that worked there were super friendly. There are many different sandwiches to choose from, and the cookies are great. Since then, we have made WD Deli a Saturday tradition, especially after testing. Make sure to sit upstairs at least once on a sunny day — great atmosphere and fun place to go with friends to chat and be lively. Pros + Atmosphere, food, dessert, serviceCons – Parking

We had a great experience and loved the music. The pizza was great and we were even able to bring our dog along so that was a plus!!! We had great service our server was attentive and friendly. I was a little disappointed that we had to pay a corking fee after just having bought our bottle of wine. Overall great food loved the Fralos sampler!!!! Pros + Friendly atmosphereCons – BYOB fees

I have only eaten there twice but will definitely go back. I LOVE their salsa and tortillas taste homemade. Their sopapillas are wonderful! The only thing I would say they could improve on is the service. Their staff does not appear to be very friendly. The hostess we have had both times didn’t smile and there was some manager with blonde hair that looked uncomfortable because she was walking REALLY funny in shoes that were obviously too high for her. She did not smile- probably because she couldn’t walk in those shoes and her feet were killing her- and did not appear to be friendly. The waiters could have been a bit more attentive. We waited quite awhile before they refilled our drinks and came to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. The food WAS great! The atmosphere is GREAT and we will go back but I would like to see an improvement on the staff and service. Pros + Food, atmosphere, authenticityCons – service, restrooms too small for size of restaurant

Have been to Rosarios several times and haven’t been disappointed. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I think they have about the best fire-roasted salsa in “Tex-Mex City, USA” (aka, San Antonio), which is quite an accomplishment. The other great thing about Rosarios is that you can eat, drink and dance without leaving the place – nice to be able to make a night of it in the same establishment. Highly recommended.Pros + Good chips, good marg’s, great fire-roasted salsaCons – Parking, but no complaints once inside!
