You must be in DOS mode to do this. The problem is that Windows ME does not have a DOS mode. To get around this, you will need a Windows 98 SE startup disk. Boot to that startup disk and then copy the desired .dll file to the proper location in windows. Usually that location is c:\windows\system32. After copying the file to the location, remove the start up disk and reboot the computer. The copied file should stay in windows this way, without being removed.
