Dr. Hank Michael acquired the long-term practice of his mentor, Dr. Ridley C. Ward, in October 2001, when he retired from Dentistry. After remodeling the office with state-of-the-art dental equipment and furnishings, Dr. Michael began studying advanced cosmetic dentistry, dental implant reconstruction, and laser dentistry. These additional strengths along with a passion for general dentistry allow Dr. Michael to provide the highest level of dental care available today.
A native Sarasota resident, Dr. Michael started his quest for knowledge at our local Manatee Community College and then transferred to University of South Florida where he completed his Bachelor Degree in Biology, with honors. He then attended the University of Florida Dental School, which is nationally recognized for advanced research and training in periodontal and restorative techniques. A leader in the Psi Omega and ASDA, Dr. Michael completed his postgraduate studies in implant restorative and dental surgical techniques in 2001. Dr. Michael and his staff focus on providing painless dental services, which include: routine care, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, teeth bleaching, veneers, immediate and delayed dental implants, dental implant crowns, dental implant bridges, dental implant partials, dental implant dentures, metal free crowns, inlays/onlays, dentures to enhance both health and appearance. Digital photos are used to assist in communication and smile design to get the desired results. Presently, Dr. Michael's office is one of a few that has a 3D X-ray machine (Conebeam CT) that allows Dr. Michael to do computer guided dental implant therapy.
Both doctor and his staff devote much of their time to ongoing education on the latest dental techniques to provide the most advanced products and techniques.
