  1. Cats are a great way to ease stress and great to have if you are pretty chilled and mellowed out kind of person, who just needs a little furry friend to relax with at the end of a long day. Dogs are great, too. But they require a lot more work than cats do. But just like dogs, cat need playtime just as well. So here are 5 toys to buy for your cat.

    1. Laser: This is by far the most popular toy for a cat. It keeps their attention and get’s them moving, without you really having to get up and move much. This is great for if you’ve had a long day at work and just want to rest, but also want to give your cat some attention and love. They don’t cost much and you can find these almost anywhere. These are also great if your little fur ball likes to sneak out the door when you are coming and leaving. You can aim it to keep theirĀ  attention while you slip out or slip in.
    2. Feather Wand: This is the second best toy for a cat and cats lovers. All cats love either a feather wand, mouse wand, or even a bird wand. There are a lot of different types of wands that you may need to buy and try out on your cat before you can find the right wand that your cat loves the most and is eager to play with. These don’t cost a lot, either. You can find these at any pet store, so shop around and see what your cat likes. Try and by more than one so that not only you, but your cat, has different types of wands to choose from and get to know. Now you may notice that your cat may not like certain ones and that’s okay. Don’t give up, just keep looking and order some if you must. There are tons of wands to pick from and your cat will enjoy playtime more.
    3. Remote Control Mouses: Another great toy for someone who has had a long hard day at work and just want to relax, while also giving their cat attention. You can find these online, maybe not so much in stores, but if you call around and ask, I’m sure someone will have these. These are fun, you can control where the mouse goes and don’t have to worry about it running into something and getting stuck, therefore, making you get up constantly and having to “fix” it or turn it back in the right direction. Consider buying this and I promise, it will catch your cats attention.
    4. Undercover Mouse: This is a mat that has a electronic mouse under it that goes around and around, stop, and go the other way. This is a great toy for cats and again, for you to relax. These normally don’t go for much, but you might find one that goes between $19-$23. But the price is worth it. It’ll keep your cat happy and you happy. You can typically find these in any store, such as; walmart, target, or petsmart. But you might have to look around because these are very popular with cat owners, as well as with cats.
    5. Hair Bands: Believe it or not, hair bands that you use to put your hair up with can be a cats favorite. My cat loves to steal my hair bands and run off with them to play with. I buy maybe, 4 packs a month just because my cat loves these so much. I even give them to her as a Christmas gift and she just goes crazy with excitement! You can buy these anywhere and just throw them around the house. The cat will run after it. And if you have the time, you can teach your cat to actually play fetch with you. Throw the band and the cat will bring it back to you and wait for you to throw it again. This is by far MY cats all time favorite toy. It’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s low cost and easy to find! I promise you, you won’t regret picking up some hair bands for your cat.

Having a cat can be a great thing. But don’t take that for granted. Cats need TLC just like dogs do or any other animal. Try out some of these ideas and see how well they work for you, you won’t regret it.
