  1. The Magician stands before his altar. He holds a wand high in his right hand. A symbol of power. His left hand hangs to the left side of him, his pointer finger pointing towards the ground. A symbol of authority. The magician is skilled at what he does. No, he’s not skilled at magic tricks. He’s skilled at the work he does and the job he has. His job is a labor job, meaning he works very hard at what he does. He’s the boss of his own company. He does the hiring and the firing.

In the past, he suffered a great loss and still dealing with the pain, but he will’s himself to be a better person because of that loss and his work keeps him very busy. He expresses self-confidence, thus resulting in better performance of his job and work. On his altar is a pentagram (a symbol of peace and love), a chalice ( a symbol of the element of water), a sword ( a symbol of casting a circle or the cutting of bread during a ritual), a wand ( a symbol of circle casting, magic rituals, etc.) and flowers that surround the altar ( a symbol of admiration). The symbol above his head also shows authority.

His job is a High Priest. Though the card says The Magician. He has magic in him, thus making him a magician, but because of the altar, it also makes him a priest.
