    Paxil medicine is also known by the name Seroxat and is one of the popular antidepressant drugs in North America. The medical name for the medicine is Paroxetine. The medicine has many more names according to its trades which comprises of names Deroxat, Aropax, Pexeva, Paraxyl, Brisdelle, Paroxat. It belongs to the class of SSRI inhibitors. There are around more than two hundred types of depression and anxiety issues, and every type may or may not be mutually related to the other type. The medicine is used to treat almost all kinds of depression including MDD (major depressive disorder), SAD (Social Anxiety Disorder), GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), PDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), PD (Panic Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), PSD (Post Traumatic Disorder), to name a few. There is a standard Paxil dosage which is common for all ages, nonetheless, it should be checked with the doctor. The standard Paxil dosage is 10 mg, which can vary as per patient’s factors. The dosages of 20 mg to 50 mg of Paxil medications can be consumed each day.

    One should not take Paxil dosage apart from the recommended one. If the dosage is of very low strength, the medicines won’t work and one may feel there is no effect of the pills. You can take the pill with food, water, or milk. The best is to take the Paxil pill with pure lukewarm water.

    When you have missed a dosage, take it immediately as soon as you remember it. But if it is almost the time of next Paxil dosage, skip the previous dose. If one needs to change the dose in the duration, of course, at least one week of time should be considered as a safeguard passé.
