My Expertise: As a medical social worker, I spend much of my time working with adult caregivers, the angels on earth who provide assistance to an adult family member or friend in need. Over the years, I've learned tricks for managing the stress and depression that caregiving can bring, and I've learned about resources many caregivers don't even know exist. I look forward to sharing my experiences with those in need. Remember, you don't have to go through the caregiving experience alone. Online and brick-and-mortar support is available once you know where to look.
Experience: As a medical social worker, I've worked in a large, inner city emergency room and a private facility specializing in the care of people with Alzheimer's and related forms of dementias. I'm currently working with a not-for-profit hospice.
