Led a group of elite disease intervention specialists ranked best in WA state for quality and quantity of worked produced for over eight years. Oversight of daily clinical operations within multiple programs, including disease surveillance, disease investigation, partner services, syringe exchange, HIV/STD clinical services, and community outreach Hired, trained, and monitored staff progress. Conducted performance reviews, individual work plans, disciplinary action, and termination when necessary. Trained contract agencies, providers, and other community based organizations on a variety of topics, including disease reporting, HIV rapid testing, and mandated HIV prevention counseling. Ensured compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Created policies and procedures, implemented new technologies into operations, monitored inventory supply and demand, kept organized and accurate records of necessary information. Collaborated with community agencies to implement innovative new approaches to targeting high risk populations. Participated in planning of first state-based sex solicitation diversion program for first time offenders. Program "John School" created an opportunity for persons who were charged with solicitation for the first time to attend a course on the consequences of sex trafficking. Funding from the program went to assisting sex trader’s transition off the streets. Represented HIV/STD services in strategic planning for the health department. Worked with assessment staff to tailor program data collection to improve quality of data collected, cross-trained assessment staff on specifics data fields and definitions to ensure accuracy of data. Analyzed program data monthly and implemented it into effective strategies to improve program services and provide employee feedback on a continuous basis. Worked with emergency response team during drills and actual events. Headed the marketing of H1N1 vaccine during mass vaccination event.
