I love writing which is fun, humorous, well-researched, and informative. I hold myself to high standards -- if I don't like what I write, neither will anyone else. My day job is software development, where I've worked on everything from mainframe enterprise software to video games to database design and web development. I'm a huge (pro) football...

Musician with a degree in music composition and experience playing in bands ranging from blues to metal, punk, folk, jazz, and the avant-garde. I've been playing guitar for almost 30 years and teaching guitar for 4. I also play keyboard and drums. I am well-versed in Sonar and ProTools digital recording packages.

In my day job, I'm a software developer with 11 years experience. I've worked on everything from mainframe enterprise software to video games to database design and web development. I was also a sales engineer for 3 years, working directly with prospective customers in pre- and post-sales roles, with responsibilities running the gamut from sales through support, development, business analysis, requirements writing, and technical documentation.

My day job is software development, a heavily mathematical field in which I've been employed for 14 years. My hobby is poker, with strategy rooted heavily in math. I also moonlight as a math tutor for high school and college students in subjects including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and game theory.
