Are ESC(boot option), F2 (Bios setup) working in 1000H BIOS 0601?
ESC – (boot option) and F2 (BIOS Setup) are not working during the Windows XP the booting process in my Eee 1000H with the default bios 0601. Are these keys working in your 1000H? Could you see the Eee PC logo and Esc TAB wording in the bottom of the screen before it boots to Windows XP? It is hard to change the boot setup if you don’t have any access to these two keys during the booting process. I guess Asus or EeePC group, try to optimise the booting process of 901 and 1000H. I could not find a new bios for 1000H, I think the current bios is now 0902 for other devices except the 1000 series. No bios yet for 1000 series in this site http://update.eeepc.asus.com/ Removing the battery, and pressing the power button for 30 seconds does not help. It does not allow you to stop the Windows XP booting. However, I manage to change the boot setup and access the booting selection (CD, hard drive and removal drive) by doing something. I will put the step later on, if this is really an issue. Ple
