Are intestinal enzymes the same or different from pancreatic enzymes?
Although Im no doctor and don’t even work remotely connected to internal medicine, Id still guess that pancreatic enzymes are diff rent from intestinal enzymes, as they are both specific proteins and there fore may have different functions in catalysing different reactions in the human body. For example the pancreas has several different functions, one is secretion of insulin specific protein to control blood sugar. there are other functions of other pancreatic enzymes, I cant recall what they are. Digestive enzymes however would have different functions in the digestive tract and in the metabolic reactions they catalyse, such as the breakdown of certain indigestible substances. As I work as a hospital cleaner, you don’t take my word for it, but I do over hear a lot of medical talk going on as Im scrubbing the toilets. Im sure pancreatic and internal enzymes are not referring to the same thing. They are both different in function. Re read your physiology text for semantic reference. Id
