Are love letters extinct with modern means of communication?
Love Letters while probably not as popular as they once were with the advent of Cell Phones and the internet are still around. I have written quite a few love letters to my last girlfriend during our short 6 month relationship prior to her death and even after her death each time I go to visit her grave I write her a letter telling her how much I miss her and how I am looking forward to seeing her again in Heaven when it’s my turn.
To answer your question, Anil M, Yes – Love letters have become ‘extinct’ because of these modern forms of communication. No one takes the time to thoroughly think of their feelings and write it down. Now you can flirt through a ‘;)’ or a ‘:-x’ online. The internet and cellphones have changed generations, especially the younger ones, forever because there’s much less social interaction needed to get a result. It’s so sad.
