ARE PETS ALLOWED IN RESIDENTIAL RENTAL PROPERTIES?
Most properties will not rent with pets. If a property rents with pets then in most instances a pet deposit must be paid and this is a minimum of CI$500/US$625 together with a Pet Addendum which will require the tenant to pay to have the property professionally cleaned and sprayed periodically during the term of the lease. Pet Deposits are forfeited if damages have been assessed during or at the end of the occupancy period. It is however wise to keep the property clean, and sprayed professionally if you have a pet such as a cat/dog residing in the property. This Deposit and addendum applies to both indoors and outdoor pets. Pets are limited to domestic animals only.
