Are schools teaching kids how to socialize?

No, schools don’t teach kids how to socialize. Homeschool doesn’t either. It’s what you’re doing outside of the hours you’re learning that teach you social skills. When you’re sitting down doing math, you aren’t socializing. It doesn’t matter whether you do the math at home or at school. Church groups, scouts, dance, community organizations, karate, soccer leagues, little leagues, none of those activities are only for homeschooled or schooled kids. School sports teams sometimes are, and you do learn social skills there, but you can have the same experience and learn the same skills in a homeschool sports league. Those activities are where you learn social skills. The problem with the argument about schooled kids being locked in school all day is that after school, schooled kids are free to do the same things as homeschooled kids. The problem with the argument that homeschooled kids never doing those things is that nobody puts a lock on their front door either. There are no experiences
