Are there any NIH Grants Policy Statement Public Policy Requirements for Construction Awards?
Yes. All awards under this FOA need to meet the NIH Grants Policy Statement Public Policy Requirements for Construction Awards. Those requirements include, but are not limited to the following: • Elimination of architectural barriers to the disabled • Clearance from the appropriate State Historic Preservation Office before submission of application for Historic Properties/Archaeological Sites • National Environmental Policy Act (including Public Disclosure). A completed environmental analysis form and the public disclosure must be included with the application. • Flood Insurance: The Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, as amended (Public Law 93-234) • Clean Air and Clean Water Act: 42 U.S.C. 7606 and EO11738 • Safe Drinking Water Act: 42 U.S.C.
