Are vehicles and transportation facilities covered under the bylaw?
The bylaw prohibits smoking inside a public vehicle (school bus, transit, taxi, limousine, municipal vehicle, or any other vehicle that transports people for a fee or as a complimentary service), regardless of whether or not the vehicle is currently “on duty”. Smoking is further prohibited in bus shelters and within 10 metres of a bus shelter entrance.
