As a condo/unit owner of CAS, how are we protected if an individual or group holds an event in our facility?
As mentioned above, Club Auto Sport is insured like any other commercial condominium association. When an individual or organization books an event at the club, they are required to furnish proof of coverage to protect Club Auto Sport and its unit owners. This proof of coverage is to include general liability, products and completed operations coverage, workers compensation insurance, and other liability requirements for the particular event. Any and all subcontractors the booking party brings onsiteincluding caterersare also required to provide proof of coverage listing Club Auto Sport as a certificate holder and additional insured. If the booking party is displaying vehicles at their event, they will do so at their own risk and will provide Club Auto Sport with proof of insurance on the vehicles and on any other property they bring into our facility. No one will be allowed to host an event without first furnishing proof of adequate insurance. See the Club Auto Sport event agreement f
