Can an electric-assist bicycle or scooter be ridden on Boulders greenways, multi-use paths and sidewalks?
An electric assisted bicycle is permitted to operate on street and within designated bicycle lanes. They are prohibited from operating on paths and sidewalks. As noted in the fact sheet the Boulder Revised Code does regulate the operation of electric-assist bicycles.
