Can parents visit the Jamboree?

Yes, you can buy a one-day tour ticket on-line to visit the Jamboree by clicking here. The Jamboree organizers request that visitors buy tickets for only one day. The tour is exactly the same every day so there is no advantage to visiting more than once. If you visit the Jamboree, it is important to be aware of the following: (a) The tour only allows visitors (in a group with a guide) to see the “public” areas of the Jamboree site. (b) There is no access to the camping areas where the Scouts will be staying. (c) Scouts will be doing off-site activities three days during the Jamboree. We will not know when we will be off-site until we arrive at the Jamboree next August. It is thus possible that your son will be gone on the day that you visit. (d) On other days, he could be involved in activities in an area of the Jamboree site not accessible on the tour.
