Can we paint regulators using the North Sea (Offshore) paint procedure and other special paint procedures that used to be available from Cernay?

All special painting of Fisher regulators is done at a McKinney paint vendor. We can paint products using a procedure defined as either a three-coat or a four-coat offshore application. The three-coat process is defined in world manufacturing procedure WMP8X22, and the four-coat process is defined in WMP8X17. Call your Regulator Division Application Engineer for a copy. Both of these procedures use an inorganic zinc primer and may be used on either iron or carbon steel, but they should not be used on SST. Both of these procedures are for corrosive applications.
