Can we send an unfinished transcription and voice file to a new typist? i.e. during shift change, and will the voice file pick up where it was stopped?

YES – Whenever a file is closed, Quikscribe automatically records the file’s last position within the file, so when the file is opened up again by the next typist, it will automatically open up at the exact last position. Note: In addition to this, the previous typist has the option to leave a comment for the next typist, detailing what has been done so far and what needs to be on completion. This comment is then automatically displayed when the file is reopened. The comment dialogue also displays the complete history of all typists, the time they opened and closed the file, and typist’s comments for this file. Lastly, the previous typist also has the option to embed a copy of the current document within the IAF, so when the next typist opens the file, the actual document that needs to be completed is already within the file.
