In July of 2003, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office received an NCIC alert about a possible match between the Lake Ponchartrain Jane Doe and a missing girl from Elyria, Ohio named Lisa Marie Sexton. Lisa was a white female, around the same height and weight as the Lake Ponchartrain Jane Doe. Sexton also had red hair and was born in 1966. Detectives in Louisiana requested Lisa’s dental records and exhumed the body of the Lake Ponchartrain Jane Doe. After careful examination, it was determined that the Lake Ponchartrain Jane Doe was not Lisa Sexton.
