Did Pope Pius XII really hide Jews in the Vatican during the Holocaust?
Read Hitler’s Pope, an excellent book on the subject. 477 Jews were hidden in the Vatican itself and another 4,238 were protected in Roman monasteries and convents the church transferred 6,000 Jewish children in Bulgaria to Palestine. The church in France at the time of WWII also had Jewish children baptized in the Cathloic faith, so that if they became orphaned, they could be taken in by the church. The websites below have excellent information on the subject with different views.
