Sure, dust mite allergy can cause hives. Dust mites have a protein (Der f1) that is found in their feces and body parts. This protein is one of the most commonly found household allergens. You can have hives, red eyes, watery eyes, itchy eyes, cough, runny nose, stuffy nose, cough, asthma, or eczema. It is not hard to control dust mite allergy, you just must control your environment.
