No. Students will come to the Access Academy from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Myanmar. English will be the common language for them. In addition, the majority of people that you will work with on a daily basis speak English very well, but a general knowledge of basic Bangla will definitely help you in navigating Chittagong. Also, a Bangla teacher will be available throughout your term as teachers at the Access Academy, so if you choose to study it after Orientation, you may become proficient.
