Do the landfills ever close because of bad weather?
No. However, conditions at the landfills can be difficult after heavy or sustained rains. Our equipment will pull you out if you get stuck, but only after you sign a release that if we damage your vehicle in the process, we are not liable. Wait a week or so after significant rains, if at all possible, or go to one of the transfer stations if you have a small amount of waste during the wet season.
