Does DDtrac allow the import of text or XML based data?
One of the purposes of the DDtrac system is to make data exchange with other programs as easy as possible. The first step in this process is to allow the import of a variety of data in a comma delimited file. This allows a school to upload data directly into DDtrac, shortening the time required to set DDtrac up. To do this, open “Administer Site,” open “Import Data” select the file from your computer and the type of data you want to import. DDtrac currently supports the import of data about sites, students and users as well as IEP goals, objectives and targets. A long term objective of Developing Minds Software is for it to become fully compliant with the School Interoperability Framework (SIF).
