Does Smoking (or Second Hand Smoke) affect CMO?
Smoking or spending time in smoky environments can reduce the benefits of CMO, possibly due to an increase in hydrochloric acid being produced in the stomach. This excess acid could cause the capsules to break down before reaching the intestines where CMO is best absorbed. If you are unable to give up smoking, you might find that you need to take more than one bottle of CMO. Alternatively you could try using CMO Cream instead (although this does take longer to obtain the same relief of your arthritic symptoms).
