Because of the frequency spectrum within which SafeZone operates, no licence is requried. And because the system is not always on, and uses a very low wattage signal that is encoded, real-world installations show no instances of interferencing with or interference by other wireless systems, such as Cb radio transmitters, garage door openers, etc.
