Gold wedding gown. What color bridesmaid dresses?

Dont use champagne you want to stick out from the bridesmaids. I would use red dresses. Red and gold go well together. Pick a dark red for the bridesmaids.

Okay – here is my favorite trick. Use your local paint store. Start with a paint chip that is closest to your dress, then go from them. Match and play with colors that seem to coordinate with that. Some stores even have charts with complimentary colors. You can have something that is striking against it (blues, etc), or something that is in the same tone, just a different color (like browns, etc.). You won’t know until you see how it all plays out.

I got married last spring and my dress was ivory with champagne gold lace. the bridesmaids wore my favorite color – burgundy – and it looked really nice. not really a “spring” look but I didn’t really care. I hate pastels.

how about something like chocolate with a gold or chamgagne sash…or vice versa…you could even do a cream or light pink color

Since it’s a spring wedding, maybe a light “sage”-ish green? Choosing a lighter but “earthy” color will give you alot more freedom in your flower colors… pretty dress btw!!! Congrats!
