How are basic flower essences prepared?
A basic flower essence is prepared from the pure sun tincture of a particular medicinal flower. The flowers are carefully taken from the tree or plant and placed in a crystal bowl full of fresh spring water exposed as close as possible to the noonday sun. The flowers are then left in the bowl until tiny air bubbles form around the flower stems and on the crystal bowl. The sun tincture liquid is then carefully removed from the bowl with a dropper into a one ounce amber bottle until half full. The remaining half of the bottle is then topped off with pure brandy.
