During the school year, there are three formal performance evaluations. In addition to written reports, two of the evaluations involve parent-teacher/advisor conferences at the school during the fall and spring. At this time the teacher will provide a brief written report and discuss the child’s development with the parents. In January, progress reports are also sent out to Middle School parents. At the end of the school year, a complete written report which summarizes the child’s progress for the entire year is given to the parents. Parents are welcome to make appointments for additional conferences with the teacher at any time they feel the need for further information. Each fall the Educational Records Bureau standardized tests are administered to students in 2nd-9th Grades. Those results are sent to the parents, and parents are given the opportunity to discuss the testing with the classroom teacher and/or the Head of School.
