How are Worthington Place apartments different from others?
Because of design and cost constraints with most new apartment construction ceiling heights are 8-9 feet and units tend to have smaller layouts. Worthington Place is a historic renovation. Great care was taken to preserve the historic character of the building while providing one-of-a-kind apartments. Most of the charm of the building was retained. Heavy wooden beams exposed concrete mushroom columns and exposed brick walls all combine with the spacious 14-foot high ceilings to give the units a unique feel. At the major entrance is a grand stairway enfolded by a sunlit four-story atrium. An open-air courtyard along Third Street allows first flow tenants to have their own individual entrances.
