We are looking to refurbish my wife’s childhood homemade wooden dollhouse for our children (for Christmas). It has some mildew and a rather musty smell. We have seen it mentioned to use a biocide on porous surfaces and were thus hoping someone might be able to recommend a solution (and/or cleanser that can be purchased) that will remove and prevent future mold/mildew. Anything used would have to be safe for children. Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much!! There is no true mildewcide — no product that will kill mildew and guarantee it will not return.
