How can Friends members become actively involved?
The following are some of the fun ways to become involved in the Friends and support your library: • Volunteer in Friends Bookstore at Main Library • Assist with book sales at branch libraries • Serve on special event planning committee • Serve as host/hostess for special event • Help prepare and serve refreshments for special event • Cook or bake at home. • Make telephone calls • Assist with newsletter and publicity • Assist with preparation of mailings • Serve on Friends Board of Trustees • Pick up book donations and deliver to Bookstore/Main Library.
