How can i be a good administrator?
Just as a layperson, how about being 15 minutes early and leaving later than required. Not being a clock-watcher and not saying that one “can’t wait to leave” the establishment. Always look busy even when one has some downtime. Give positive reinforcement and encouragement to employees such as “good work”, “good job”, “excellent” or such. When needing to talk with an employee about an issue, never do so in front of other workers to allow the person’s dignity to be respected. On that note, don’t gossip about others’ work as it usually gets back to the person and/or may lessen the person’s credibility as an individual.
