How can I be sure that the SurgiGuide was fabricated in perfect conditions and that nothing interfered during the fabrication?
A. Materialise fabricates the SurgiGuides using probably the most sophisticated and advanced stereolithography “printers” existing today. Please keep in mind that 3D physical modeling and prototyping is the main line of business of Materialise. In any case and to assure an almost perfect reproduction of the software 3D model was made and nothing interfered during the fabrication (for example a weak earthquake), perfect geometrical models are always created together with the stereolithographies. In case of the minimal anomaly it will be immediately visible in the prism and then the whole lot rejected and created from the beginning.
