How can we say that black holes can affect our universe, our galaxy or our planet ?

0

More and more information is becoming available about black holes. It appears that they are more than just super massive bodies that draw all mass under their influence into it. I am not sure if black holes have a large influence on the universe, but they can have a drastic effect on a galaxy. A massive black hole is capable of attracting so much mass at a given period that it can’t absorb all of that mass, it would be like trying to fill a dog’s water bowl with a fire hose going full blast, a lot od turbulence would be created in the area of the black hole and it could extend for billions of miles. Our planet is far distant from any black hole, it is in no danger.
