How did God create Adam & Eve?
According to the Hebrew Scriptures, Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universe, came down from Heaven’s glory to the Earth and formed (yatsar) Adam’s body out of the dust of the ground. We read “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7). This word yatsar means to form something new out of previous existing matter. It implies the work of a Potter who is molding a beautiful vase out of clay. In like manner Jesus Christ, the Master Potter was molding a human body out of clay. He then breathed into Adams nostrils the breath of life. The Hebrew word for breath is [ruach], which means life or spirit. When he breathed into man’s nostrils the breath of life, he created a spirit in man. In this same miraculous transaction Man became a living soul (nephesh). In other words, God created (bara) the true life within Adams body, which was his spirit and soul, which were never in existence prior
