How Did NVR, Inc. Not Pay Overtime Correctly?
The law requires that employees be properly paid for all time they are permitted to work. Our investigation has shown that NVR, Inc. wrongly classified Sales and Marketing Representatives (“SMR’s”) and Sales and Marketing Associates (“SMA’s”) as “exempt,” which means such employees were paid only a salary, or were paid only commission, and did not receive overtime.
