How do atheists explain things that are scientifically inexplicable?

Everything can be explained by science in time. I’m pretty sure those things you mentioned have explanations. In the past people confused mental illness with possession. I have never seen a possesion or an exorcism as well as voodooism except for in the movies. I suspect they are either hoaxes or just superstitious people. I don’t think there has ever been a real case of any of those. You see in some churches people flopping on the ground speaking in tongues are we suppose to believe that is real or that these people are putting on a show.

Those things ARE explainable. Voodoo is just another religion. Nothing amazing there. Possessions are either mental illness or straight up lies. Not everything has been explained yet. Given enough time explanation will be found for all the big questions. Just because those answers haven’t been found yet doesn’t mean voodoo is the answer.

There are things that can be explained scientifically, But there are also spiritual things that should be explained by spiritual eyes.

Everything ,whether we have the knowledge of it or not, can be explained scientifically. Things like possessions, voodoo, and exorcisms ARE “lies”, but unintentional lies. They were spawned from the lack of knowledge of the world.

Well, seeing so everything you brought up was completely devoid of even existential evidence, I can’t take any of them seriously enough to consider them “big lies”, more like “insignificant lies”. Now to answer your question, I *don’t* explain such things because I *can’t* explain such things. I still think you should have come up with better examples though. The three topics you mentioned all fall under “hypnosis” in my point of view.

What is your question?
