How do i convert line art to photoshop shapes?
Basic ShapeOpen your line art, select the pen tool and set it to edit “Shape Layers” in the top left of your screen. Use the pen tool to trace the outermost shape of your line art. When you click on the first point you made, the shape will close.Adding and Subtracting DetailOpen the layers palette (Windows>Layers) and reduce the opacity of your new shape until you can see the original line art under the shape. With the pen tool still active, select the “Subtract from Shape” icon from the top of the screen. Trace areas of white in the original art over the shape layer to subtract those areas. To add small details, select “Add to Shape” at the top of the screen and trace the lines.Save the ShapeSelect the finished line art shape trace, return the opacity to 100 percent and go to Edit>Define Custom Shape.
