This solution particularly applies to Ecuador Galapagos. For some podz in these varieties, the edge of the pod is attached to the inside seal of the silver wrapper. After opening the wrapper normally by tearing at the notch on the upper left edge, peel both halves of the wrapper completely apart. Then, gently tear the small bit of the podz edge away from where it’s trapped. Now the pod is happy, and ready to get brewed!
