How do I get a summary report that includes the allele frequency and linkage disequilibrium for all the SNPs in the EPOR gene?
Please note that there is no one summary report that will provide both allele frequency and linkage disequilibrium (LD) information, but the frequency information is available on the refSNP cluster report, while the LD information is available via a link within the refSNPcluster report. Below are the steps that will take you to the allele frequency and LD information you want: 1 Start by searching Entrez Gene for EPOR2 Go to the Entrez Gene report. Click on the word “Links” to the right of the entry of interest. A pop-up menu will appear.3 Select “SNP: GeneView” from the pop-up menu. 4 Once you are on the Geneview page, to see allele frequency and linkage disequilibrium information, select the refSNP (rs) number of interest (I chose rs22878574) to go to the refSNP cluster page for that refSNP. To find allele frequencies: 1 Once you are on the refSNP cluster page, Scroll down to the “Population Diversity” section to see the allele frequencies by population. Also, just above the frequenc
