How do I know what type of model to buy depending on the skill level of the modeller?
This is a common issue for customers, either because they are just starting the hobby, getting back into it after many years doing other things (like bringing up kids and building a career), or simply because they are buying a gift for a friend. To provide a solution, The Model Catalogue has added a skill level indicator to most models. This can be seen underneath the model images in the catalogue pages, next to the stock level. You can also search for the following words “Easy”, “Intermediate”, “Challenging” or “Advanced” to retrieve a list of all models tagged with a skill level term as described.
